GLENN KESSLER, Ph.D., Virtual Learning Consultant
Glenn Kessler is a founding partner and Chief Education Officer of Clarent Education. Glenn has over 30 years of experience in higher education and information technology. Glenn's academic experience includes teaching (both online and face to face), advising and academic program development. Before joining the Clarent Group he was an Assistant Dean of the College and the Associate Director for Academic Programs at the University of Virginia's adult education program. Glenn served as the VP Emerging Technology of the RIA Group, a unit of the Thomson Corporation, and VP for Electronic Product Development for several Reed Elsevier companies including Reed Reference Publishing and Butterworth US. He holds an M.A. in Philosophy from McGill University and a Ph.D. in Logic from Princeton University. Glenn continues as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Virginia and the University of Maine System.

DON GRIM, Senior Quality Assurance Consultant
Don Grim has more than 35 years of experience in quality assurance/food safety for the food and beverage manufacturing and lodging/hospitality industries. Prior to joining Seneca, Mr. Grim was vice president of quality assurance for Marriott International and Avendra, a procurement services company. He has also held senior executive positions with Delmonte Frozen Foods and Hanover brands. Mr. Grim has a bachelor's degree from Moravian College and a master's degree from East Stroudsburg University. He is also an active member of the Society for Microbiology, the American Public Health Association, the Institute for Food Technologists, and the National Environmental Health Association.

ANTHONY J. WILSON, Principal Consultant
Anthony Wilson has more than 30 years of sales, marketing and supply chain management experience in the food industry, and has held senior and general management positions in marketing, global accounts, purchasing, distribution and R&D. Prior to consulting with Seneca, Tony was President and CEO for Instill Corporation, providing software as a service supplying chain visibility and business intelligence to both leading foodservice manufacturers and chain restaurants. His previous experience includes: Campbell Soup Co (Vice President/General Manager in the Global Food Service Division), ARAMARK (President of the Marketing Service Group), Marriott and Sodexho (Senior Vice President of Sodexho Marriott Services). Tony was the brand manager responsible for the launch of Prego, the top selling dry grocery product of the decade and winner of the 1982 David Ogilvy Marketing Award. He earned his BA in Economics from the University of San Francisco and is an Alumnus of the Stanford Business School.

ANNE BARKER-SMITH, Food Safety and Compliance Consultant
Anne Barker-Smith is a professional food technologist with over 29 years of experience in the food industry. She is a principal author of the Seneca's Risk Self-Assessment for multi-unit restaurants. Anne worked for Performance Food Group for 25 years in several key QA Leadership functions. She holds a BS in Food Science and Technology, and a Masters in Agriculture and Life Sciences (food safety and regulatory concentration), both from Virginia Tech, and has received additional certifications through SQF Auditors Training, ServSafe® Train-the-trainer, International HACCP Alliance, and Better Processing Control School. She is an active member of IFT, the Virginia Food Safety Taskforce, and IAFP, and has served as President of the Virginia Food and Beverage Association.

ALAN D. PARKER, Senior Consultant
Alan Parker has more than 25 years of experience as a microbiologist, consultant, educator and business executive. He has special expertise in quantitative risk analysis and HACCP (hazard analysis critical control program) development, and is a certified food safety trainer and a processing authority recognized by both the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the U.S. Department of Agrigulture (USDA). His work on the validation of biocidal processes, both chemical and physical, has been one of the main focal points of his professional career. For many years, he owned and managed an independent food testing laboratory, providing analysis and consulting services to all segments of the food and beverage industry. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland, with graduate studies at Johns Hopkins University in public health administration.
